http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=194595 How far out was the female before it finally took without dying off? Has anyone come with more ideas what was causing this to happen?

Do not count your pumpkins before they are set...
I am still taking theories and ideas to this female flower problem. I think the elevated nitrogen could be a factor so I have done my best to over water to leach some out.
Also, I have modified the daily high and low temperatures to a cooler 80F for a high and 60F for a low. This cooler temperatures should match the typical night time temperature fluctuations a little better.
This project has been going great until the lack of female flower development. The plant growth and male flower production have all been similar to 'field grown' plants.
