Hi Fellow Growers, I have a couple dreams in life. Of course, if you ever read my diary posts, you know one of them is to win the Puyallup Fair (WA State Fair) with my pumpkin...I'm getting close! Well, the other dream, my #1 dream in life is to win the Pillsbury Bake-Off. This is the biggest cooking competition in the world, and it has a $1 million dollar prize. I entered the "Amazing Do-Able Dinners" category, and out of the tens of thousands of entries, they chose mine to be a semi-finalist! I've been trying for 12 years, and FINALLY, I made it - almost...

Pillsbury is doing something different this year: They've selected their top 60, and they'll post the recipes and photo of the dishes online at www.bakeoff.com from March 14th to 28th (2 weeks)for online voting. The top 33 vote-getting recipes are finalists and the contestants get to go to Las Vegas to compete in the Bake-Off for a million bucks!

I am BEGGING all of the giant pumpkin community to help me out by going to www.bakeoff.com and voting for my recipe and help me get enough votes to compete in the Pillsbury Bake-Off.

Thanks Tom; Voting will start on the 14th. I'll repost then, but I just wanted to make sure I got the word out early. I'm not sure yet how many votes you can have since it's the first time Pillsbury has done this.
