once again we are reminded of the senseless violence that surrounds all of us.

So many suffer, this time of year. so many are lost, so much pain. Pain causes more unfathomable acts of desperate ungodly acts. Lord save us & them. What can I do? For them and others? Help me cope in this world. Help me see the suffering in the one next to me. Help me to care for them. In Jesus name I pray:~(

This tragic event is only 15 minutes from my town. Unfortunately we know people who were effected by this senseless act. Thoughts and prayers out to everyone.

We are all struggling on how to answer questions the kids are asking. Just unreal.

I second that Pap escpecially the cowardly part.When the insident in Colorado hit or family was devistated in part because my sister in law was/is a teacher in that district and we werent sure if it was her school or not. That being said I can not think of the sorriful feeling I have right now. Innocent kids lives taken away families lives turned upside down. I cant stop thinking of what one of the kids had said "We want our Christmas All I want is my Christmas ...I dont want to die" As I am sure there are many people who have lost loved ones and there is NO good time but having it happen this close to a special time of year for family and kids is very very sad. Our family has been praying for all of the people who have been effected by this and will trust that God will comfort all of them

I am a firm believer in the second amendment. With that said, it is the responsibility for all gun owners to secure (as in lock up) their weapons and ammunition when not in use. Keep these items out of the hands of criminals, children and mentally unstable individuals. We can't stop all acts of violence but we can certainly cut down on the number of these senseless acts. My heart felt condolences to the families of the young Americans and heroic teachers that left us far to soon.
