yep you can, but it will cool down once you put it on the patch. if its chicken manure be careful, don't put on too much it will do more harm than good. Micheál

fresh (hot) manure should be put on in the fall. if you spread the semi hot manure over the patch now, it will lose nitrogen by the time you till it in in the spring.
I thought you were using the manure to compost your leaves faster?

Too hot manure is not good. What you get is plants that grow like crazy but don't grow (much) fruit.
What I would do is pile it as high as you can, mix in other things, and let it compost all winter.
