How in hell did Steve Daletas make it so far under the radar this year? No heads-up, no fanfare. But I gotta believe those 2012 seeds of his will be in great demand next year. Thanks for such a generous package Steve.

I had the pleasure to talk with Steve on the phone yesterday and he shared a little about the 1799.5 and his 1788.5 and the growth those two had,,,,,,,,,, my mind is still spinning!!!!! WOW!!!!! is an understatement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a humble, generous and kind man!!!!

Thanks Steve!

Maybe if I bought some better beer we could get some "secrets" out of him Jim. Steve has shared not only his knowledge but his home, patch and time with many of us lucky enough.. Handys

Might I suggest you switch to something a little stronger than beer...There is a reason why those Kentucky Boys pretend to be so friendly while passing that mason jar

Two things stick out in my mind as highlights of going to Half Moon Bay in 2010---Meeting Steve, and meeting Leonardo!

I'd be careful passing around a mason jar, after I left Bear Wallow I picked up a jar and was told it had 2 fights to a pint!!! But seriously I just got a mess of Steve's seeds from this year now I don't know what to grow!
