Hi I am doing a presentation on giant pumpkin growing to my vegetable growing groups here in Australia. Does anyone have link to a pic of the first 1000lber grown and also a pic of Howard dills first world record I could use? Cheers Clinton

The first two were the zehr 1061 and the greer 1006 grown in 1996 I believe-ray w. should have pictures of the 1061

I remember the story on the hoult fruit.He grew it under plastic at end of season. Dropped it when picking or it fell off trailer??

After Bob Ford grew his WR451 in 1976, Howard grew his first world record (the 459) in 1980. I'm still looking for that photo, but I just found a picture of his WR493.5 from 1981. If you want the WR493.5 pic or the WR451 Ford, send me an email. [email protected]
