I had some good luck this year growing Giant sweet peppers. I grew one 1 lb, 5.89ozs, or 620.57 grams. While I dont know for sure it could be a world record.
The pictures will be up tomorrow.

The EGVGA site shows the european record as 1.29lbs. Yours is 1.368 lbs. I have no idea what or if there is a world record catagory for pepper, but I would like to know.

Guinness lists the Heaviest pepper as:

The heaviest pepper weighs 0.29 kg (0.63 lb), grown by Edward Curry (USA) at Curry Farms in Pearce, Arizona, United States, and measured on 6 November 2009.

The green chili pepper measured 26.03 cm (10.25 in) long and 9.52 cm (3.75 in) wide and was weighed on a CAS SW Series Portion Control Scale Legal For Trade.

This is a Green Chilli Pepper not a Bell Pepper. I would apply, they may well award you a World Record! Or, at least specifiy if there is a different record for Bell Pepper

I have been growing super heavyweight hybrids and big Bertha's side by side for a few years. I am hoping for some super cross between the two varieties. This pepper came from Super heavyweight hybrids. I don't hold Guinness in too high regard.
I had it weighed on a certified scale by a county official. That's good enough for me.
