Special thanks to Dave Stelts and the GPC for the great time that was had in NY city. Dave is not only an incredible coordinator but could easily be a tour guide in the Big Apple. It was not only fun but an honor to be hanging out with the likes of Ron Wallace, Steve Daletas and our northern neighbor Carl Graham. Karen Daubmann from the NY Botanical Gardens managed to bring in teams of carvers/sculptors from all over the country as well as the growers and pumpkins to showcase our pumpkins. Not sure how she did it but I was impressed. If you get a chance check out pictures from the NY botanical gardens website.

Failed to mention Neil Anderson (Extreme Gardening) for his support and sharing of knowledge during the trip. He is a wealth of information.
