I was just wondering what most people use as a source of foliar nitrogen. I am currently using a soluble fish powder that never seems to dissociate in water, regardless of the water temp or how long it sits. There must be a better product that I am not aware of. One that might even work in a mister/sprayer.

is there a liquid form of calcium nitrate? I am only familiar with the granular type that I broadcast on the soil.

Cal nitrate is water soluable so the granular would work fine. I've never foliared with it so Linus how much into a gallon of water?

I used Tom's Advanced Fertilizing Program (You can find it on Extremepumpkinstore home page) for my successful season.
Lots of the Products had nitrogen in them, I used stihl backpack blower to apply everything, and mixed all togther with the exception of Cal Mag Max, as described in the program. I had no problem putting the liquid fish or any products on.
