We are going to have a pumpkin carving party. For the kids in the neighborhood. Thought it would be fun. Each year the family and I carve pumpkins in the front yard. Usely a neighbor kid will show up to watch. We would give them a pumpkin to carve too. This year the pumpkin sizes have tripled. (thanks to Bp) So I'm betting the kids will too.
Now to my Question. Any ideas for kid friendly activity's? Also will putting a 700 pounder on its blossom end, split or crack it? Lastly I was going try my first inset-ed carved face, any tips? [email protected]

Have a great time!!

Unless it went really light, or had internal flaws a 700lber should not crack if placed on its blossom end. That's big enough to put the kids in and take pictures..
