Tough loss but the 2009 started to leak and I made a decision to remove the seeds. I did not want to take a chance on compromising the integrity of the seeds. I can report that it did have a decent seed count and the seeds are in great condition. Also I have been getting bubble packs since late August, please do not at this time send bubble packs, we do not start the process of filling seed envelopes till January. Anytime during or after the month of November is good. As usual we will do our best to full fill all club, GPC and individual requests. Once again I would like to thank everyone for the many emails and kind words over the last month.
Ron

As usual Dave you are a bomb tossing fountain of misinformation. The display case is refrigerated. The people at Topsfield go above and beyond as do the growers/volunteers to make our site as good as we possibly can.You don't grow,so you don't know.

Oh well, would have made one magnificent Jack-O-Lantern, and I would have loved to have seen her shape propped upright, but hey at least you got the SEEDS!
The most valuable things. Carved into a J-O-L she would have only lasted several days anyway.
Those seeds will enhance the genetics of giant pumpkins for many generations.
