Ok lets just pretend that some one is not the sharpest tool, now where would that person go to find out the web address to the Auctions coming up this November cause I looked in the.....I mean some one else who is stupid looked in the seed auction section from last year and found a bunch of results from Auctions but the only auctions that they could find where being ran by BP.com. Where can a less than knowledgeable AG grower find such info ?

Home of happy lil plants

It comes up throughout winter after everything has calmed down after weighoffs and seeds dried. Seeds are sent to clubs and after clubs have all their seeds to auction off for the year they organize a date to have an auction in the seed auction section of chat here on bp.com. at which point it is a live auction with the highest bid taking home the seed.

Most clubs have the auction hosted here on bp.com, start watching the seed raffle and auctions section in about a month for details regarding seed auctions, will have the when and where it is being held, and what seeds are included in the lot number.

Some auctions are hosted via a clubs own website or the club might just have a seed sale but all of which will still be mentioned here under seed auction/raffle with a good bit showing up in general discussion. Be patient and you will have more than an ample chance at any seed you want with sometimes multiple seed auctions a week. So their are plenty of chances for highly proven hard to find seeds as well as new ones.

Ken will designate a date for all clubs who wish to hold an auction or auctions here on BP.com to be present when each club's name will be drawn at random(each club must tell Ken to put their name in the hat). Each club will then choose their selected date(s)as their name is drawn. The drawing typically takes place after the weigh-off dust has settled.

Brosco,We need more support at the auctions,So please come join us this fall.November is when they started last year on BPs chat room.Buy a seed. Everyone should buy a seed & lobby the hobby! Some will say why should I buy a seed I will never grow or can get for free. Some seeds are rare & hard to find, you will have to buy one if you want to grow it.I love to have seeds for trading purposes.I just traded a 1495 stelts for some 245 Bartoli WR melon mother seeds.I traded a 1634 Werner for a 1495 Stelts and got it back.I had 3 1634s so no big deal.OVGPG sells seeds year round to support the club. You can buy them & stick them in the freezer & wait for someone to grow a biggin. Then you have the hot seed for 40$,now its worth a hundred.lol!Plus I figure what goes around comes around. Please LOBBY the HOBBY!!

If you freeze them (seeds)double seal them. The defrost cycle will kill the seed if you dont seal them well.prescription bottles work great.

Brosco,
After the auction dates are selected as mentioned above, there is a link on the home page to the upcoming auctions. A list of lots and the order they will be sold is also posted. Typically they are held every Sat night (but they can be on any day and time) from Nov through Apr at 8pm in the chat section. One of the rooms will be labeled with the auction name.

I seen the dates and info for each club but just wasn't sure as to where the actual auctions were:

It's not a big deal as it sounds like when the time comes the info will come. I guess I just don't understand why they arnt all done on this forum in the seed auction section like this one:

The main auctions are held live in the chat room on designated nights. They are not drawn out over a week period like the ones u see on the message board.
