Will have to harvest my pumpkins early tomorrow for weigh-off Sat.Friday the high temps will be upper 50's with Friday nite in low 30's.Should I just cover them well on the truck or have damp sheet over them with tarp then blankets?I don't want to lose any weight from evaporation but don't want them to be cold as the temps drop.

Try taping on some plastic bags or bottles with water on chunks of vine on each side of the stem. That should help keep water going into the pumpkin. If it gets as cold as they say I would definitely keep it covered. See you on Saturday! Mark.
