We made the journey
To witness the depiction
If the DONKIN Diary
Was truth or fiction

He invited us in
To her cozy nook
For Ben and I
To have a close look

We starred at her
Both aghast
We couldn’t believe
The Mold Monster mass

Gorgeous color
And smooth as glass
This beast could easily
Dominate the Howard Dill class

But DONKIN’S sights are set even higher
Pushing his beast to grow wider and wider
And to prove to all its NOT location
But hard work, commitment and dedication

Will she tape heavy or light?
We won’t know until the Millville site
One thing’s clear, Carl’s on one hell of a ride
And has generated a lot of Cape Breton pride

He calls her Mold Monster
But truth be known
She‘s a beautiful thing
That’s still growin

wow John!...that was almost as impressive as the "Mold Monster" herself.The giant pumpkin growing community will have it`s ear`s and eye`s focused on tiny little Millville come the 13th!

lol Carl...did you know John and I secretively measured the Mold Monster?Problem was John had the big number end of the tape and just kept saying it wasn`t possible so didn`t even jot them down!!

Carl...NEVER leave the Mold Monster unattended to even to go get your camera...BIG mistake...but some of those numbers have come back Ben. Don't worry Carl I won't tell anyone. They will not believe it anyways, they can see for themselves on the 13th.
