Just wondering if there are any clone projects going on now, maybe on the 1725 plant which grew the new WR...would be great to create some more genetic mixtures with the genetics of this particular plant (at least a "Freak 2 x self").

I have some plant material from the 1725 Harp that grew Ron's 2,009 pound pumpkin that was weighed at Topsfield. It is currently rooting as I type;-)

;-) I had been waiting for a response from your end in particular, Matt. Sounds good, may they root like hell, grow well behaved over winter (would be bad if you were running out of space) and go into some great crosses next year. Best of luck! Jörg

Hi Nic-
I also have some plant material from the 1789est Wallace that will be getting weighed on 10/6/12. The scale will determine if the material gets propagated or composted;-)
