Hey northshore boys I hope jake doesn't find out you're posting pictures of his new world record pumpkin. Seems kinda out of bounds to me.

Mr. Tree Doctor....I am hoping that Jake will reply to your posting himself and he can advise you whether or not he thinks it is out of line or somewhat inappropriate. I know Jake regularly travels to Washington State to take away top honors and I did not post a picture of his bigger one so that you will all be surprised again.

Maybe Ken is looking for another diary screener and you could have nipped this in the bud and checked with Jake before it was posted.

Just saw this post. Everybody take a deep breath. Jim, I wasn't home when Glenn came by my patch. He took some pictures which he sent me first and asked if he could post them. I gave Glenn permission.
My garden is at the front of my property and wide open to the public to see the pumpkins. People drive by and stop all the time. Parents will bring their kids to have pictures taken.
Winning is great but to see the kids faces when they can sit on a giant pumpkin is priceless.

I will probably not make the journey to Washington State this year. Instead, I'll only weigh in at Nanaimo on Oct. 14. (Read between the lines)
