Hi all, back in the spring Pap suggested that someone volunteer to keep a BP diary showcasing all of the Howard Dill winners. The MAGPG would like to support this effort.
In preparation for the first major round of weighoffs this comming weekend we have created this BP.com account so that the growers and pumpkins that win this award can be honored in a grower diary format. There is nothing official about this list, submissions will be voluntary and based on the honor system. We are not an official representative of the GPC (in this circumstance).
Please email [email protected] with your entries. Entries must include a photo (that is the whole point right) and list the grower's name, weight and cross of the pumpkin. Feel free to send us a note if you feel there is any incorrect information posted and we will do our best to investigate and resolve.
Thanks in advance for your participation!

to a ton of growers the GPC "howard dill award" for the prettiest pumpkin is what its all about. they prefer color and shape over bulk and weight ( hey that rhymes to-lol ) its there primary goal each and every year. i really like the thought here plus we are continuing to honor one of the nicest men to ever grow a giant pumpkin. why not give these site winners a showcase for there efforts as well? thanks M A G P G. I just posted our first entry ever, norm gansert and his 1048.5 but realized that when I'm logged in as the club we are not registered as a premium membership, so the pics will be delayed during the review process. I'll have our treasurer forward the premium donation fee ASAP so as to avoid delays in the future. We hope to be posting a lot of pics in the next few weeks!
