Started off my first year with a goal for a 500 lb pumpkin out of 7 plants and was disappointed when 1 went down to a disease and another to a inferior plant but I just picked my 5 pumpkins and was happy to find 3 out of the 5 have an ott that is estimated over 500lbs with one that might hit 900lbs with an ott of 342 but like I said just estimates. I can't wait for next year cause I did allot wrong this year and have what I think is a good game plan for next year. I'm getting allot of good info from you guys on here but I wish I would have found this forum in the early spring. Thanks for giving a newbie the time of day LOL

I had allot of fun this year and I can't wait for next year (I hate summer, I can't believe a pumpkin makes me look forward to it coming back)

Here are my pumpkins:

I hate summer too. Ne summers are like an indoor swimming pool with the Heat cranked. But when nothing else could get me outside, pumpkins could.

Nice kin's. big pumpkins in a pile makes it all worth it.

Good job Brosco. I think you are hooked. lol Pay a lot of attention to genetics. The best seeds grow the biggest pumpkins. There will be lots of good seed auctions on here in the winter.
