Can anyone tell me if it's OK to add Actinovate to my compost tea? And will the active ingredient of the Actinovate - Streptomyces lydicus - populate itself? It's a worm casting, alfalfa meal, humus and humic & fulvic acid based compost tea.
Thank-You for your help. Betsy O.

Ive been using it with mine every week. I make 30 gallons of tea for 24-36 hrs,(my own worm compost, Maple syrup or mollases, Humic acid) add half of it to 150 gallons of water, add in SoilBlast, Actinovate SP., Fish, sometimes Companion. Drench 3 plants. Fill it up again and do another 3 plants. I have added some of them into the tea first also. I'm having a pretty good year disease wise so far, I would say.

I've always used them separately. I would be concerned that the actinovate could potentially be consumed or out-competed by other organisms in your compost tea. No proof of this, but since Actinovate is so expensive I've always stuck with using it separately.

Actinovate and Compost tea have been a part of my weekly applications. No disease in my patch.
