To start with, it's the 1495 Stelts. It started as a double vine, I couldn't bring myself to pull it. I pollinated a pumpkin on the main vine that I didn't want.Since I couldn't get another pollination I went with it. Then a SVB went in the main vine right were the pumpkin is. I cut in the vine 12 inches on each side of the pumpkin to get it. might I add this pumpkin has passed my personal best by over 200 lbs. We have 42 days before the weight off. Now I find three places were the sap is dripping from the stem/main vine.I cleaned all the bad stuff out. Then used peroxide, sulfur and fan is running.
Thanks for listening, I had to get that off my chest.

Way to go Kurty. My personal best came from my runtiest plant last year that was only planted as a backup. Pumpkin growing is full of twists and turns. That is what makes it so fun and so hard.

No pressure this time of year, but that sounds like an awesome season so far, any season with a new PB is great! Heck having a pumpkin at the end of the season is great!
