I've had a terrible year , but the one pumpkin I was able to salvage is starting to turn green..........I have no idea what caused it or what to do about it.
ANY ideas would be appreciated.

Grow it, things don't always go as planned, we don't live in a perfect world..

Abby, why all the splits I saw in your journal. Overwater?

My guess: your pumpkin is actually a squash; you have a pumpkin that is showing its squash genetics.

I second Norm: grow it and see how big it gets.

possibly too much water, or just bad luck

There are several growers that are growing my 1333 this year and none have been showing green. I looked into the genetics and there is no squash genes that I can find. Was it a controlled polination? Best of luck to you.

If it has green coming out, it is from the 1237 Werner and its genetics, the Dodge genetics will only be present in the seeds that come from this fruit!!!

Now , I've got orange coming out.
I still think there was a "Martian" in my patch somewhere.:)
The pollinated Werner was the only plant that survived the BIG storm here.
