I have assembled an amazing team of world class sculptors(not just pumpkin carvers)to transform several huge pumpkins into life-size,freestanding(sculpted over steel frames), highly realistic statues of soldiers and Native Americans engaged in battle(War of 1812)This display will be carved in Niagara Falls Ontario the week of Oct. 22. I will need 3-4 large pumpkins that yield extremely thick walls(10 plus inches is ideal!) as it will be cut up and assembled into full size figures. I will also need one pumpkin at the site in Niagara by September 17th so that I might carve a life-size Native American to photograph and serve as promotional ads for the events opening in October. These pieces will undoubtedly be the most incredible images of carved pumpkins to date. Missed you at the World Champion Sand Sculptor Contest going on until Sept 3 in Federal Way, WA. Some beautiful work there. Sounds like a display worth seeing in Niagara.

I have a 900 pder that split last week,Tall deep ribbed(1723)I sealed the split & cut it from plant.Is this of interest to you?I'm about 5 0r 6 hrs from Niagra.If not I'm blowing it up this Sunday on you tube.There's pics on my diary.
