Subject: veins all over pumpkin?

my turner looks like a body builder as it has big veins running all over it's surface. First time I've seen this, is it a common thing other fruit have shown?

That's where you inject the milk.
Be sure to dip the needle in some captan to avoid infection at the needle hole.

Take the tourniquet off the main vine and they should go down. We typically remove ours in July.
