I see a lot about the 1789 but I am more interested in the 1647. How are these plant doing right now? have nice crosses been done?
thanks,
Iwan

My 1647 plants were so aggressive I couldn't set one on the main and for the first time in my career have a 1647 Wallace x self on a side vine. My other 1647 plant got hammered by hail and lost almost all the main so I let it go. I have a 1647 x 1723 Marshall, a 1647 x 1723 Marshall, a 1647 x sibb and a 1647 x 991 Urena and a 1647 x 1303 Sweet pollinated on that plant.

ron and i each have a 1647 going. his was pollinated eight days ahead of mine. when we measure this sunday his should be in the area of 1,000 and mine 800.
both have a classic egg shape ,yellow at the moment and heavy/narrow ribbed.grower stats are pretty much equal from days of pollination.like twin sisters on differebnt plants.
from what i have heard many growers experienced pollination problems.for our part we pollinated three on each main and all took.
