This is the first AG's I've had growing in three years. Two look great, but one is shaped like a pear, with a large bulge at the blossom end. Almost looks like a siamese twin. I do not have pictures posted yet, but the pumpkin narrows in size as it gets to the vine. Looks like a gourd with babboons butt. Getting big, but will these defects cause it to break at these odd points? Not sure if i will check this often, so if anyone has an answer, please post on the site or send to [email protected]. Thanks.

the really weird shapes should be culled. they uusually dont amount to much. always try and pick a round or oval shaped fruit.freaky shapes also tend to blow easier.

they are defective ,thats why they look wierd. babboons butt included.

Too funny. It's too late to cull him now. Might just start another on that plant to take the pressure off of the freak. If it survives, it will be a conversation piece. Thanks everyone.

Plus, it looked like a normal female bud when I pollinated it. Just didn't get time away from work to look at it until it was already growing.
