My 3 plants are slow, slow slow!!!! Was at 3 inches a day (not that great) but now they are all down to about an inch, inch and a half a day. I may get one close to 200 pounds, IF they keep that up. Advice? And why would all 3 be on the same schedule? This is NOT for the faint-of-heart!!!!! Plants are monsters!!! Beautiful. Who will share their Xanax?

Thanks, WiZ.....always learning, learning, learning!!! And you will be glad to know, I sent my husband out 2 days ago and he culled the two kins I was hesitant to touch!!! Brought tears to my eyes!!!! (That is another reason I thought my one guy would show better growth...no competition.) We will continue to watch, measure and, of course, hydrate!!!!!

Nukid, I'v been rowing about 10 years and it looks like you will beat me by 200#! The weather here has been brutal on AG's. This year we have already had 4 more days over 90 degrees than all of the previous 4 years combined. And the forecast for the rest of the growing season is more of the same. Just hang in there, things will improve.

I hear you Iowa. In July, Saint Louis had 14 observed days over 100 alone and 7 of those over 105. Finally got one set, but it looks like crap from heat and not worth my time anymore.
How's your watering Nukid?

Thanks, everyone. I feel better. AND, pumpkins are moving again. Had 3 inches on 2 other day. And Luke, I water like crazy...was wondering about that, but don't think it is the problem...who knows? (Besides getting drenched in morning, and depending on heat, 2 more times during day, they also get misted 3 times a day for 10 minutes....cools them down and does add some moisture to soil.) But I am Nukid, so any and all advice is much appreciated!!! Thanks!! (Good luck guys and gals!!!!)
