I was just shocked to see that my 102" cc pumpkin has a blossom end split.... It's about 1" of a tear top and bottom of the blossom end. What would be best to do in order to keep it going.. I'm sure the chances are low.

I nursed one from 275 lbs. to 429 lbs. before it went down. http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=166985

Good to know. I caulked it for now to see how long it holds up. I'm going to try to get another one pollinated.. Such a bummer to see it go down after going so strong...

I have one that split around the stem end. 5 seperate 1/2 inch deep cracks. I have 6 other plants so I'm pulling it. I just don't have time this year to nurse one along.
