I have one at 10 days just stopped. No growth for the last 5 days. Could it be from extreme heat we have had in upper 90's.

That to bad. The heat has been brutal. Its not natural for it to be in the 90's every day. Esp when growing ATlantic GIants.

So do you cull them after five days of no growth?

I'm having the same problem but here in the Pac NW it's not the heat. I am afraid it's a vine borer even though I read they don't attack in the northern climate. I think I was misinformed. I too only have two plants and both pumpkins got to be about 18" on Sat. and stopped growing. Trying one last ditch effort with compost and fert. I was wondering when to say when. Now I know. Very sad as this was my first attempt.
