OK I kind of need help. My 2 plants are now vined out pretty good and hopefully should start putting flowers on soon (i know i'm late..really late) but what i want to know is. what can i do to help speed up the process a little faster? And does the Neptune's Fish and Seaweed stuff really work? Right now i'm just watering them and using compost tea. I'm having a tough season with this drought. Just hoping I can get a decent sized pumpkin this yr. What are some products that you would recommend? i'm buying items tomorrow.

extremepumpkinstore.com & hollandsgiants.com both sell the products you need and have fertilizer programs you can follow. Yes, I have used Neptunes fish and seaweed, and they worked for me, alot of the top growers choose Neptunes harvest. You can get cheaper, but, this is the stuff many of the proven growers use.

Purchase a bloom booster from Tom at Extreme Pumpkin store. Jacks classic 10-30-20 is a cheap one, or go with a 3-18-18.

I find the "shot gun method" of try everything and hope something hits to be costly, wasteful, and could also pollute.
My suggestion is a soil and/or tissue test to determine what you may need and what might already be optimum in your patch.
For example if your pH is off any nutrients you add will only be minimally available to the plant.
If you have a soil test use this as a starting point.
