Just posted a picture in my diary (jeffp) should be up later today.
Found a brown spot on the blossum tip of the 1426 wolf. I carved out the bad tissue and it came out easily with a healthy tissue perimeter. Wiped with alcohol and put a fan on it, seemed to dry quickly. The tip is solid and is not loose at its attachement to the pumpkin.
Anything else i should do? Thanks jeff

jeff, did you remove the flower a day or two after pollinating? if not that can also promote rot at the blossom end. pap

I actually did take it off the next morning and it seemed fine. If you look at the diary and the pic from the day before you can notice that the blossum nub does not have that brown coloration. came on overnight
I ended up cutting off the whole thing yesterday evening and the rot seemd to be from the inside out. Its completely dry now with a fan on it. Hopefully its ok as that pumpkin has really picked up.
thanks jeff
