With the daytime temps here finally heating up to nearly *100 yesterday and *100+ today, as many others do I have been putting ice around my newly pollinated ladies with a bucket over top to keep some of that cool air in. It got me to wondering, from the time the pollen touches the female to the pollen going down the tube to do its thing, how long does that whole process take? I generally change the ice out as needed until the sun sets but never put ice in the next day as I assume the deed is done, am I wrong?

If I recall correctly, I believe I remember Pap saying he thinks within 2 hours after.
