I have a fruit at day 25 today. It started to put on 20 pounds a day 7 days ago. About 5 days ago, the high heat moved in. I was expecting to measure today and see it into the mid twenties for weight gains, but no.
It averaged 20 a day the entire 7 days.(I checked a few days ago also). For some of you growers that get these heat waves once or twice a summer, can I expect the growth rates to increase when it cools down next week ?

I have the same problem; pumpkin was growing well, reached 0tt 0f 190, then we had several 100+ days and almost no growth; the pumpkin vine is very health, and the pumpkins is a beautiful green color; Anyone else had this happen and still had a successful pumpkin; we are now going into a week of rain and 80+ temperatures; is there anything I can do to improve chances?
