I would sure appreciate some imput! I have always used "Kodak Easy Share." They closed down last week and are transferring photos to Shutterfly. I found out you can't transfer photos directly from a camera to Shutterfly. And in reading, I'm not sure Shutterfly is what I want. Should I consider Picasa? or Flickr? or what? Please help!!....Glenna

I use Flickr, and absolutley love it. I've had photos on the site for years, and it stores as long as you renew the subscription. I renew for every 2 years, help me if Flickr ever changes into something else or goes by the wayside, I have tons on file.

My folks use Picasa, but I find flickr much easier to use. My .02 cents. Good luck!

Glenna,

Have you tried searching for "Shutterfly" and downloading software which will allow you to upload photos directly from your camera? I had Kodak Easy Share too and all my photos had been transferred to Shutterfly.

I agree with Milford an external drive allows you to back up any type of file, this will prove priceless if you ever have any computer issue that takes out your hard drive.
I usually use Photobucket to put pictures online, it is free, no third party software to install, real easy to use.

I just got an e-mail from shutterfly with instructions on uploading photos. I can send it to you if you like.
