35 in one trap....25 in other trap....and a new grower just sent me a pic of a leaf that was wilting...he saw a hole, cut the leaf open and sent me a pic of a youngn svb grub. It was on a relatively newer stalk. Lots of fast growth in the heat. Spray more frequently if needed. Stihl fogger is coming out here tonight. Do your best. Take advantage of some of these cooler temps at night before it hits 101 mid week.

Double edge sword...avoid the tips and small leaves but keep up on new growth.

I usually spray Merit mixed with Bifen I/T once every two weeks, but after hearing about the SVB Grub I am going to spray it as I bury the vines.

Henry, if they are here, than they are most likely there. Scary part is I am in the patch every morning for 30 to 45 minutes and have yet to see one sleeping or resting on leaves. I am in the patch at least 1 or more like 2 hours almost every night. And I haven't seen one yet. Have not seen doesn't mean they are not here. And I have been looking. With a full day in the patch yesterday...on and off 7 hours easy. Didn't see one. Got 4 more in the traps since yesterday. I love checking and counting cuz it is silly how these traps work. This is my first year. They have been up over a month and the lure is still getting them good. Take it for what it is worth, but when I saw a grower 45 minutes south send me a pic with 3 in the same leaf stalk, and he sprayed warrior last week, it has me on my toes from here out.

saw a svb yesterday, today a hole in the main vine. I slice 12 inches and found nothing. How far will they go? I'm a little late with the insect program.
