Today working on my vines what did i see but a wee little killer. She was busy flying in and around the stocks So content in her duty's. She didn't even care, she was one foot from my face. I have never been so close to a live one before. What to do i was stunned with fascination. My first thought was kill! But in the back of my mine was how. How could this little bug cause so much fear. She would land at the base of a leaf stock then fly to another, each time putting one little egg (devil's spawn). She was so busy that she didn't notice the hand coming for her, it was all over with one little flick of the finger. Know I want to do is go pore gallons insecticides.lol

I freaked when I saw a cucumber beetle late last evening. I immediately sprayed my entire patch and minutes later it rained. As soon as the fog lifts this morning it's death to the bad bugs.

Patiently waiting for my first tomato. Today's the day, what did find a perfectly ripe tomato half eaten by a horn-worm. AAURG!!! Good grief.
