Bought some leaf mulch last weekend. Went to go load some buckets to bury some vines and saw thousands of termites, if not more in the pile. Obviously I am going to kill them, but are they harmful to the plants if they happened to get in the patch already?

I dont think so, they like wood. Bifenthrin is used on termites a lot I think

I agree, I don't think you have anything to worry about with the pumpkins. Watch out for your house though!
