My pumpkin is out eight feet and the hut is removed. We are forecasted to have day temps in the 60's and night time temps in the 40's for the next week and was wondering if it would help or hurt to turn the heating cables back on. Thanks for your thoughts

Here in R.I. Its cold. Even with getting a few hot days the cool temps have been hurting the season. If I had oil warming cables id turn them on.

I had my cables off due to some nice weather we were having. Now that it's cool I've put them back on to help. I'm noticing my plant is still growing slowly with the cables on.
