Oh yes, and all pumpkin growers will feel touched by such an act of friendship. This also shows how easy it is to make a pumpkin grower happy...e.g., when compared with many women out there, who would expect something with colorful flowers and wouldn´t feel flattered by a pot with some greenery ;-)

Did the plant survive the shipment and transplant?

Yes it did. It went into shock for a bit, but is now growing. I planted some seeds directly into the ground the day it was mailed, and it's at least 10 days ahead of those. I will email you an update soon. Thanks
