My plants are off to a great start this year mainly thanks to the weather we've had here in Maine. Knew it wouldn't last forever. Just wanted to give Northeast growers a heads up the first week of June is looking quit a bit cooler. Thought about taking one of my hoop houses out, but not anymore. http://policlimate.com/weather/current/gfs_t500a_plan.html

I was thinking the same thing until I watched your report last night on the news. Going to have to extend one house a bit since the vine will be touching the back wall by the end of the day today. PS Growing your 713.5 this year. NICE rugged plant. Almost as big as the one that I have to expand the hoops for even though it is a couple of weeks younger.

If we here in eastern PA are getting into the low seventies as highs and the lower fifties at night forecast for this weekend and next Monday you guys need to watch it way up there.

I'd love to hear how you make out dww2. Perhaps I'll see you at Sanford or Damariscotta in the fall? That 713.5 went heavy. Crossed it with the 1725 Harp. The plant was doing great and then went down early (July 21st) due to severe weather. The tornado didn't hit us but it touched down a few miles away. http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/stormevents/eventdetails.jsp?id=250497. Good luck

That is the one I'm hoping to bring to Damariscotta this year. Lost my best fruit to Irene last year so I know how it goes.
