I just installed a halogen lite with a motion sensor in the corner of my pump patch to hopefully scare away the deer when they come at night. Any thoughts?

we have a lot of deer in our area and have found that a radio at night does help keep them away.

Believe it or not some people swear that some little sacks of blood meal tied to posts around your patch will take care of the deer problem. I was a skeptic but had no deer around when they were there. A couple spoonfulls in a piece of old nylon stocking tied at the top works well. Stick with the light though, it may scare away other, perhaps 2 legged, "problems".
