What is the best way to defeat these bugs? I saw one in my patch today. This worrys me.

Get them early. I use permethrin it takes care of them. Now that I have a spray program I use, I really haven't seen them for years.

I use bifenthrin...which is Bifen or Talstar. This link shows good photos of the eggs, the nymphs, and the adult, as well as explains the life cycle.

I also use Bifen and a warrior-T knock off. They both get the job done and they are not pricy which is a plus.

How does permethrin, Bifen or Talstar on bees? We have beehives??
