soak in solution of Superthrive; soak soil around them when you plant with same , as well as weak compost tea and fertilizer until roots recover and strengthen. try to set roots at each leaf node as soon as possible.

yes ben --- getum planted asap. treat with a few types of ferts, kelp or fish, etc,no need to over compensate though. they will come around. i had to pull one of my plants because the stem split at the base and replanted it with a large plant that had been held over in a 2 gal pot. it took off fine.just wilted a tad the first couple days which should be expected. pap

Thanks Pap. I planted them Monday and added a cup of mixed blood, bone, fish and kelp meal to the planting hole. Friday I'll hit them with some liquid fish and mollasses. I got so behind during planting season on the farm I nearly forgot about my pumpkins. I kept them watered but not much more. my 2 early plants were potted up into 7 gallon grow bags and were fine. 3ft vines are alway touchy to transplant, but it sure beats 4 inch vines in mid-May.
Vimes, I don't have any superthrive on hand and by the time I locate it it will be a moot point. I will start burying vines as soon as they lay down to get those nodes rooting. It will also be the only way to get mycorhizae under the plants as I didn't order any until Today.
