Luke, I wouldn't be too worried just yet. Your plant looks pretty good, pee leaves notwithstanding. At this early stage it could be anything from slow nitrogen uptake to cold soil to whatever.
PS- if your pee is that color I would see a doctor.

I am no expert or anything but I wouldn't stress about color too much as long as the leaves and vine are growing normally.

Why is there such a big gap on that plant? did you prune off some of the leaves and vines?

I figured out what happened as my cumcumbers also showed yellowing. We have multiple spray bottles, and before my wife went out of town last week she used a new smaller one to spray Roundup in the front driveway. I used that some bottle the next day to spray actinovate which must have had some Roundup residual left. Leaves and tips are looking fried. I'll post a new pick today. I will most likely have to use a secondary as the new main on both plants if they make it. Thanks for replies

Doesn't look like new vs old leaves to me. The newest leaves have areas of darker green...and the rest is that golden yellow-green color consistent with early disease like yellow vine decline and like our local phytophlera symptoms. It also shows like spray inj to young leaves...which may come back. My guess- spray injury or start of disease.....but really doesn't look like young vs old leaves to me at all.

Sorry to hear. I really feel for ya. I have a love hate relationship with round up, neighbor sprayed some weeds in he's yard and wind drift 20' away killed 5 of my tomatoes plants. They slowly died and never recovered.

Luke, hang in there....you are a good gardener and things will turn around...but gotta label those sprayers...

It will be alright...these plants will bounce back and you wont remember the rough start.

I am waiting for the newest pic for today to be approved, but the tip on the 1244 main is fried. It's brittle and drying up. There are a couple healthy secondaries about 2 feet back... should I cut off main and go with one of those as new main? 525 will prob be ok. Thanks

If you have a backup put it in the ground now!My PB was grown off a plant that was put out on the 12May.That plant is going through lots of stress and they don't need that!!

Thanks Donkin, but I have already gotten rid of backups though. I will most likely have to go with a secondary.

Hi Luke, I think your plant will make it through this, if it were going to die I think it would be dead already. The problem is that the round up is now in the plants system, I am not sure how much it will help at this point to do extensive pruning. I would wait and let the plant dictate what to prune and what not to. Plants can and will overcome herbicide toxicity if it does not kill them outright. The plant needs time to outgrow the amount of round up it absorbed.
