Subject: any danger in kerosene heater in GH?

I bought extra clean kerosen low sulpher. in a hurricain lantren on a low burn (cleanest). will this hurt my plant in a green house?

I use something like that and have no ill effects. One of my longest growing fruits had a greenhouse cold frame on it , like Joel uses, with a wick style 30000 btu heater. I think AGs are very tolerant of ethylene gas if that's a worry.

Assuming that you eliminated any fire hazzard, you are doing your plants a favor. The biproducts- ethylene and CO2 to name a few can be beneficial to the plant.

Just ensure you master your setting on the lantern and clean the lantern if you get any carbon buildup.

thanks for the reasurance, I was a little worried about sulpher. now I feel better about my call as I knew the co2 factor which i wanted
