I have a couple of marrow starts that are 8 inches tall with cot leaves... they look like basketball players..lol..I understand that to much heat and not enough light will make plants leggy .. but this not the case.. I'm assuming that I can transplant out of the peat pot and bury the stem up to cott leaves without any adverse effects.. is this true.. thanks

They probably see your 1723 in the distance and they're trying to get away while they still have a chance. Other than that they should be fine.

That will be no problem. If they get leggy between the cot leaves and true leaves, take off the cot leaves and bury them up to the first leaves.
