One of my plants is on the 4th leaf stage now, but the first true leaf came out with a twin like a double vine would. Now, they are rotating out as they develop and NO more twins... does that mean no double vine and just a coincidence with twin leaves for the first?
I really don't want to pull this plant if I don't have to as it is really looking good.
Thanks,
Luke

Luke I had a plant 2 years ago with twin leaves for maybe 2 sets or so, stopped once it vined. But all male flowers aborted on it before opening. Pumpkin split at 500 lbs after heavy rain and gains in 35 lbs/day.

Luke, I had this happen with a 1068 Wallace plant, the vine 'wasn't doubled' but it shot out two leaves on each side of the main up to about 5ft and then continued normal , I considered my self lucky because it shot out twice the root system from each leaf node, I ended up growing a 1402 off that plant.

usually with doubles you can terminate one side, flats are another issue
