Hi,
One of the leaves on my 1304 Sperry plant is turning yellow. Does anyone know if it's due to excessive heat in the hot house or something else.

Thanks, Greg

whats your soil temp? Cold soil limits nitrogen uptake..How wet is the soil Oxygen? Whats your Iron look like? So many things cause yellowing..Bugs eating the roots?
Excessive heat will normally wit and kill them

I have heating cables and the soil temp has been in the 70's, however, there isn't a thermostat so the soil temp could go higher. I have not seen the soil temp go any higher than 80. The reason I've been ruling out problems with the soil is the fact that I have another plant which is about 4' away that does not have any yellowing of its leaves.

Yellow usually means too cold and not enough nitrogen abailable but not a guarantee

Ok, I started fertilizing a week ago with Neptune's Harvest fish fertilizer. We'll see in a week or so how things look. I may also put a little blood meal down. Thanks to everyone for replying.
