You will fail at your first attempt,emotional problems,immature,crazy,rude and insulting,asshole,sociopath,d**k,medical condition,dumbest man on earth,freak,dumb ass,monster,antisemite,twisted bonehead,total dodo,phsyco,manure brain,a disease,narcisistic,perpetual drunk,confused and mentaly ill man and I'm sure there are many comments I missed.These are are the personal attacks I see on this site.This to me is terrible and extremely disappointing.Everyone is entitled to their own opinion,especially when it comes to growing techniques.Personal attacks?Name calling,wanting to fist fight someone?and even a "black e-mail" threatening this mans life?This is the most shameful and intimidating junk I have ever seen in my 2 years on this site."Fascist behavior"?I looked the word up in the dictionary and it sure seems to cover this "gang mentality".What kind of example does this teach the young people on this site?It makes me wonder about whats being taught to your own children.Hatred?Anamocity, racism?I'm sure a "rookie" new comer to this site would be fully intimidated and shocked by these attitudes being projected here and terrified to post any massage or opinion for fear of being singled out."Ignore button"?More childish behavior.It reminds me of my days playing sports and that kid that said "I'm taking my ball and going home".All I have seen this man do is constructive critisism and retaliate to the nasty two cent comments.A little "chain jerking" is all it took to bring out the "true colors" in growers?I hope this is not true.Just speaking before the minds were engaged will be my thoughts for now.Maybe I will be on the ignore list after this post, but this had to be said because this childish and shocking behavior really bothers me coming from "so called adults".I will just pray that apologies are in order and ammends made and we all learn from our misgivings and mistakes.Always r

Hold on there!!!.....This man has personally attacked many people here that have had decades of growing experience and have basically founded the hobby. I have ignored him for a few days and haven't had to deal with his childish name calling and rants. Names like Nazi certainly are childish however those names have been thrown out by that man not users of this web sight. We here as a growing community take growing pumpkins seriously and constant personal attacks toward people that are and have given advice toward people in the hobby trying to grow a big pumpkin.This man is Amelio and he has personally attacked just about every grower out there...I personally don't know what to think of him. I'm not sure he's a emotionally troubled man or someone that loves to sit back and see all the commotion he has caused. Many growers have taken the bait. I was one of them. I decided to ignore that man and talk pumpkins, I wish other growers would just use the ignore button and be done with it. Even those that choose to listen to that man have to deal with his brash childish behavior. The ignore button works great and I have no idea why these people don't use it. With the season coming full swing I don't have time for the idiotic ramblings of people that wanna argue and cause problems. If you think an Apology is in order then I say yes there is one in order and Mr. Amelio owes all the people he insulted a big apology, All the inciting name calling as well as the false info he's given to new growers. This web sight is the mecca of Atlantic Giants. Growers come here to exchange ideas and info, Its not the place of one person to hyjack postings and ruin conversations. If Amelio decides he can have a civilized conversation and add to the forum then I'm all for it and I'll unignor him but until that time He's banned from my computer screen.

Well if thats all you have seen you haven't been paying attention.

I really don't care enough to attempt to put him in his place but I am certainly not going to try to censor those that do. For that matter I don't think Amelio should be censored either. I am not going to try and tell anyone what they can and can not say.

Its very very easy. If you see a post by somebody and you dont agree. Ignore it. And if you feel you have better advice to give then give it, without taking cheap shots at whom ever gave the advise you dont agree with. Its stylish and adult. Its decent and curtious. Theres no one thruth in growing, no matter what your pb is.
The above goes for the accused and the accusers. And we know who all those are.

This "gentleman" regularly put down Pap Wallace and essentially called his advice garbage. Anyone who defended him was called part of Wallaces mafia. If you disagreed with him you were called a nazi. I fortunately found the ignore button and no longer have to listen to this. I agree with the fact that there is freedom of speech here. That is one of the things that makes this country great. However, no one has to listen to it if they don't want.

I don't want the job. But someone needs to apply a time out feature for personal attacks. I would be willing to be the first to have it applied to. Yes there is freedom of speech But there are consequences for bad behavior. You can't go into Burger King and be disruptive. I was abusive because if one can do it, so can others. Surprising that one can bring out so many demons in me. But I can't fix this Roadhouse.
