Howdy,

This is my first time using this forum, as well as first attempt at growing a GIANT!!!

I purchased the Extreme Gardening's Giant Growing Kit and have been studying How to Grow WCP the All Organic Way.

I've started preparing my patch according to the book's instruction and will begin starting my seeds in a week or two.

I live in Central Oregon's High Desert and we sometimes get frost until the middle of June. I've already built my Joe Jutras Greenhouse from the plans in the book.

I am having trouble finding were to buy 6" or Larger Peat Pots to start my seeds. If anyone knows were to find them or an alternative, please let me know.

Thanks
Big R

Last year I got 6" Peat pots at Home Depot. This Year I found 1 gallon Pots made out of coconut at the Hydroponics store in Seattle. They are supposed to mork just like Peat Pots but they don't seem to be nearly absorbtive.

Ive seen 5.5 inchers at lowes. 4 inchers work fine. Drill some extra holes in the pot.Plant as soon as the cots green up and you can tell first leaf direction. You can put aluminum foil around pot to keep roots(the ones that pop through to outside) from dying.Bury the whole pot when planting.Dont forget to remove the foil. good luck
