I live in michigan, this year i'll be growing giant pumpkin, tomatoes, and watermelon. when should I start each, and whats the best way to prep the soil.

Tomatoes can be started now, you still have 2 or 3 weeks until watermelon and pumpkins should be started.

Im starting melons this weekend,kins about the 27th if weather looks good,I may delay 1 week if it looks like last May.Maters will start Memorial weekend like last year.Field kins the end of May.
